Wayne B. Clemans
Wayne B. Clemans, 68, of Buffalo, died Thursday, November 1, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
He was born in Adair, OkIa,, on May 27, 1933 to H. Howard and Sarah Wilma Caudle Clemans. He married Phyllis A. Snider in Buffalo on October 11, 1952. She survives. They were married in the same house where they have lived.
He lived in the Buffalo area most of his life.
He was a former deputy with the White County Sheriff's Department. He was also a machinist at NAPA in Monticello.
He was a member of the Buffalo Christian Church.
He enjoyed NASCAR racing and working on vehicles.
Other survivors include a daughter Deb (Mike) Cosgray of Idaville; a son Michael Clemans of Monticello; a brother Raymond H. (Bonnie) Clemans of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; a half brother, Sonny (Caralynn) lemans of Kewanna; his step mother [sic] Evelyn Clemans of Buffalo; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home after visitation on Sunday with Gregg Nydegger officiating.
Burial was in Buffalo Cemetery.
