Harriet L. Clark, 76, of North Judson, died Saturday, March 23, at 8:40 p.m. in Starke Memorial Hospital. She was ill 2 years and seriously ill 3 months.

She was born Oct. 12, 1914, to John and Anna Smigelski Romanek, in Chicago. She was married Aug. 31, 1935, to Chester T. Clark, in Chicago. He survives.

She was retired from the American Oak Preserving Co., North Judson.

She was a member of the SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, North Judson and the Christian Ladies Club of the church.

Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Elizabeth King, Chalmers; three sons, LeRoy, Houston, Tx.; Richard, Knox and Chester, North Judson; seven sisters; eight grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. One brother is deceased.

The funeral was Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Msgr. John C. Witte officiating. The O'Donnell Funeral Home, North Judson was in charge of the service.

Burial was in St. Jacobs Cemetery, North Judson.
