Charles C. Clark, 86, Chalmers, died Sunday at his residence.

He was born April 7, 1902 in Portsmouth, Ohio, to John and Louisa Shafor Clark. His marriage in Winamac was to Ethel Braner, March 1, 1923. She survives.

He moved to Chalmers from Francesville in 1925.

He formerly owned and operated a grocery store and later a TV sales and service business in Chalmers.

He was a member of the Chalmers Community Church.

Surviving with his wile are one daughter, Mrs. Junior (Carol) Maxson, Chalmers; four grand children and eight great- grandchildren.

One brother and one sister are deceased.

The funeral was today in Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston, with the Rev Maurice Davis officiating.

Burial was in Chalmers Community Cemetery.
