Rebecca D. Christensen, 54, of Peru, died Monday, July 19, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born April 8, 1945, to Leo and Lula Morris LeGate, in Peru. She was mamed Dec. 27, 1975, to Don R. Christensen, and he survives.

She worked as a cheese broker for Marwood Sales in Kansas City.

She is survived by her husband; three stepsons, Chris and Carl Christensen, both of Peru and Curt Christensen of LaFontaine; a stepdaughter, Theresa Merritt of Peru; a brother, Butch LeGate of Peru; a sister, Martha K. Coady of Peru; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday at Helfrich Cemetery in Monon, with the Rev Frank Hicks officiating There was no visitation.

Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, was in charge of arrangements.
