Isaac E.  'Ike' Carnahan


Isaac E. "Ike" Carnahan, 70, R.2, Delphi, died Sunday, Dec. 10, at 9:35 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital emergency room, Lafayette. He had been in failing health since August.

He was born July 12, 1919. to Clarence F and Teresa C Eaglehoff' Carnahan, in Blanchester, Ohio.

He was a retired farmer and construction worker. He was baptized at the Pious Chapel Church in Carroll County and had lived in Carroll County for 35 years.

Survivors include two sons, Lloyd, Monticello and Mike, Brookston; a daughter, Madeline Street, Brookston; 11 grandchildren; a great grandchild; a brother, Arthur, Burnettsville; and three sisters, Iris Malchow, R.2, Star City, lone Hubbard, Monticello and - Norma Coble, Winamac.

Funeral was conducted at Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev Ed Summerfield officiating.

Burial was in Hughes Cemetery.
