Clennon Cain, 78, Brookston, died Tuesday, April 6, at 4:55 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette, where he had been a patient 1 day.
He was born July 25, 1914 in Tompkinsville, KY. He married Nina Sims on January 28, 1935 in Tompkinsvllle, KY, and she survives.
He had been a resident of Brookston for the past 6½ years, moving here from Wolcott. He was a retired farmer when he moved to Brookston.
He was a member of the Brookston Church of Christ and a Deacon of the church.
Surviving with his wife is a son Denton Cain of Ft. Meyers, FL; 2 brothers, Cecil Cain and Ray Cain both of Tompkinsville, KY; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Scott of Scottsville, KY; and 4 grandchildren.
One son, Dale Cain, 1 sister and 4 brothers preceded him in death.

Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
