Paul Louis Butler, 27, Wolcott, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 4:35 a.m. in St Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.

He was born July 4, 1971, to Paul Lawrence and Wilma Sue Stapleton Butler, in Dayton, Ohio. He was married May 11, 1991, to Shirley Jean Wheeldon in Buffalo, and she survives.

He graduated from North White High School in 1989.

He had been employed at Omni Forge, Wolcott, for 5 1/2 years.

 He had lived in White County most of his life and had lived in Wolcott for three years.

He is survived by his wife; his father, Paul Lawrence Butler, of Reynolds; his mother, Wilma Sue Stapleton England of New Tazewell, Tenn.; a brother, Daniel Lee Butler, New Tazewell, Tenn., and a sister, Shawn Ann Burkhart, Battle Ground.

Funeral services were Saturday at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, with Rev. Steve Birch officiating.

Burial was in the Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
