William D. 'Bill' Bush
 

William D. "Bill" Bush, 85, 205 Argold Drive, Brookston, died at 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, where he had been admitted May 29. He had been in falling health for a year.

He was born Jan. 21, 1910, to William C. and Melvina Darnell Bush, in Benton County. He was married Sept. 19, 1960, to Grace May Imler, in Delphi, and she lives in Delphi.

He was in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Tec-5 Company A, 785th Military Police Battalion. He served in the Rhineland, the Europe and Asiatic Pacific Theaters.

He was employed for 31 years at Alcoa in Lafayette. He retired in 1972.

He lived at R.2, Springboro, before moving to Brookston in May 1994.

He was a member of the Brookston Federated Church. He was a 48-year member of the Brookston American Legion Post No. 251.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Donna Pusey, West Lafayette and Helen Mock, Lafayette and four grandchildren.

Four sisters, three brothers and a grandson, William Lloyd "Bill" Pusey are deceased.

The funeral was conducted Friday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston with the Rev. Lelan McReynolds officiating.

Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.
