Kathryn Price Burnau

Kathryn Price Burnau, 88, of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Monon died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Heartland of Oak Ridge in Miamisburg, Ohio.

She was born on November 22, 1914 in Monticello, the daughter of J. Stewart and Maude L. Luse Price. She married R. George Burnau on February 25, 1934. He died June 7, 1998.

She was a resident of Dayton, Ohio since 1998 coming from Monon where she had lived most of her life.

She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

She graduated from Monon High School in 1932.

She formerly worked at Newbold Olds in Monon and was a former telephone operator. She was a former employee of Tippecanoe Country Club, Monticello.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen (George) Heller of Beavercreek, Ohio; granddaughters, Holly Swing of Atlanta, Georgia and Jennifer (Scott) Renninger of Columbus, Ohio; grandsons, Michael S. Swing, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Christopher B. Swing of Dayton, Ohio and three great grandchildren; Jordan Swing and Sydney Swing of St. Louis, Missouri and Hope Swing of Atlanta, Georgia.

A sister, Dorothy L. Sissons, a twin sister, Kathleen Price and a brother Joseph S. Price, Jr, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2003 at Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home in Francesville with funeral services following at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Newman officiating.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Monticello.
