Ray Arthur Broughton, 51, 207 Indiana Beach Road, died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec.17, at Monticello Healthcare Center.

He was born May 29, 1938, to Chester A and Virginia Hurley Broughton, in White County. He was married Sept. 10, 1980, to Fern Wright, in Rustburg, Va., and she survives.

He attended the Zion Bethel Church, Rt. 3, Monticello.

Survivors also include two sons, Thomas. Logansport and Tim of Fowler; two stepdaughters, Michelle Facemyer, Chalmers and Thersea Holdoen, Bedford, Va.; three stepsons, Thomas Cobb Jr.., Danny Cobb and Jeffrey Cobb, all of Monticello; three brothers, Lyle, Darlington; Darrell, Burnettsville and Kirby, Burnettsville; five sisters, Wilma Lee Woolard, Washington, Ill.; Mary Caudel, Burnettsville; JoAnn Clevenger. Peru; Shirley Osborn, Logansport and Ruth Ann Kilgore, Bumet, Texas; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Bethel Church with the Rev Jeff Messer officiating. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of the service.

Burial was in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
