Rosalyn Weaver Brooke, 68, formerly of Rt.2, Lafayette, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 8:30 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. She had been living in Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette, since 1978.

She was born June 2, 1921, to Harvey and Florence Anson Weaver, in Valparaiso. She was married July 15, 1943, to Glen L. Brooke in Lafayette He died Jan. 17, 1954.

She graduated from Battle Ground High School and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at Ross Annex in Lafayette.

She was a member of Cairo Home Demonstrators Club and of Badger Grove Community Baptist Church.

Surviving are five sons, Lynn A. and Jerry, West Lafayette; Steven 0. and Mark A., Brookston and David W., Fort Wayne; one daughter, Mrs Larry Joy North, Romney; and 16 grandchildren.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Badger Grove Community Baptist Church with the Rev Bill Radcliffe officiating. Friends may call Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston, or one hour prior to service at the church.

Burial will be at Grand View Cemetery in West Lafayette.
