Wilma J. Brigance, 64, of Monon, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at her residence. She had been ill for 3 months.
She was born in White County on December 23, 1939 the daughter of Fred and Ethel I. Cox Maggert.
She graduated from Monticello High School.
She married Harold H. Brigance on February 20, 1965 in Monticello. He died November 6, 1991.
She had worked at the former RCA plant in Monticello for 16 years and owned and operated the Monon Video Store from 1986 to 2000.
She had lived in Monon since 1965 coming from Monticello.
She was a member of the Monon Eagles Auxiliary.
Surviving is [sic] a son Richard Vernon Jr., of Monon and one sister, Judy Loftus of Marengo, Ind. She had 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two sons are deceased.
Friends may call at the Kellogg Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Graveside services will be at Bedford Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Bill Eisner officiating. Burial will be in Bedford cemetery.
