Larua [sic] H. Bramblette, 87, Monon, died Friday, January 5, 2001 at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare following a five-year illness.
She was born on September 7, 1913, in Monon to Clyde and Ethel Kellenburger Hughes. She married Millard DeLong on April 29, 1932, in Indiana. He is deceased.
Her second marriage was to Roy Bramblette on December 5, 1944 in Lafayette. He is deceased.
She was a legal secretary for 10 years for the Hopkins & Hopkins law firm in Rensselaer and was a court reporter at the White County Courthouse from 1976-1985.
She returned to Monon in 1967 after living in Chicago.
She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Sheila (Jim) Siebert of Watseka, IL; two grandsons, Mark Siebert of North Miami, Fl and David (Carol) Siebert of Bluffton, IN; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Pickut officiating.
Burial was at Bedford Cemetery.
