Janelle Ruth Boyd, 35, of Huntington, a former Monticello resident, died Thursday, Feb. 3, in Lafayette.

She was born March 17, 1964, to Charles and Mary Alice Bruton Smith, in Garrett. She was mar ried June 23, 1990, to David M. Boyd in Fort Wayne.  He survives.

She was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School and attended Purdue University and Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

She was a teller at Bank One Coventry Branch in Fort Wayne.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Christian Center in Fort Wayne and taught four and five year olds at the church.

Surviving with her husband is her mother, Mary Alice Smith of Monon; sisters, Pam Howard, Lafayette and Becky Adams, Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday at First Assembly of God Christian Center, with Pastors Ron Hawkins and Don Williams officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
