William H. Bossung

William H. Bossung, 71, of LaPorte, died Thursday, March 25, 1999, in South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, GA.

He was born in Chalmers on March 15, 1928 to George and Esther Vogel Bossung. He married Agnes Krulik in Reynolds on March 19, 1988. She survives.

He was a 1946 graduate of Reynolds High School.

He moved from Reynolds to LaPorte in 1988.

He was retired from Bortz Farm Store and had been employed for Moorman's Feed Company of Reynolds.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of LaPorte.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus St. Michael Council 1542.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Denise Bossung of Indianapolis; two stepdaughters, Connie Brisbon and
Bonnie Pherson, both of Monticello; four step-sons, Don Krulik and Ron Krulik, both of Monticello, Lou Krulik of Hartford, Wis.. and Tom Kruiik of Martinsville; three sisters, Betty Kramer and Teresa Minnicus, both of Delphi, and Marge Welsh of Lafayette; two brothers, Dick Bossung of Reynolds and Ed Bossung of Monticello; three grandsons; 15 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A sister and a brother are deceased.

A funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, LaPorte, with the Rev. Gerald Sroka and the Rev. John J. Strebig officiating. Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte, was in charge of the service.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Reynolds.
