Martha J. Bossung, Chalmers, died Saturday, Jan. 20, in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She had been seriously ill for three years.

She was born June 30, 1938 to Rhinehart F. and Elizabeth E. Souligne Bossung, in Lafayette.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Reynolds and lived in the Chalmers community all of her life.

Surviving are her mother, Chalmers; a brother, Charles R. "Chuck", Chalmers; and a niece and nephew.

The funeral was Tuesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Reynolds, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Robert Fosselman officiating.

Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, Monticello, was in charge.

Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Reynolds.
