Darlene
"Rusty" Bossung, 55, Reynolds, died Sunday, Aug. 2, at
Home Hospital, Lafayette, following a lengthy
illness.
She was born April 17, 1943, to Cecil and Thelma Maguire Rusk, in Lafayette. She was married Aug. 22, 1964, to Richard Bossung, in Reynolds, and he survives.
She lived for 34 years in Reynolds and was employed at Monticello Hearing Aid Center and was secretary at Bosswig Oil Inc. in Reynolds.
She worked with the White County Election Board at the Reynolds polls for several years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Reynolds, where she was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society.
Surviving with the mother, of Lafayette, and her husband are a son, Douglas R., Monon; a daughter. Mary L. Church, Tooele, Utah; a brother, Gerald Rusk, Pitman; N.J.; and three grandchildren.
A grandson and a half-sister are deceased.
Funeral services were today, Aug. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard E. Miller officiating.
Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monticello was in charge.
Memorials may be given to Hook's Rehabilitation Center at Home Hospital, Lafayette or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
