Thomas E. Bose, Sr.

Thomas E. "Tiny" Bose, 73, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and formerly of Buffalo, died Friday, May 27, 2005 at Nashville, Indiana.

He was born March 5, 1932, in Royal Center, the son of Elmo Sr., and Irene Selby Bose.

He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1950.

He had moved from the area in 1963 to attend Porter Business College in Indianapolis area prior to moving to St. Petersburg in 1989.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked at Bud Gosman Shell, Tall Timbers Marina and the former Monticello RCA plant. He retired from J. C. Penny [sic] and had also worked at White Arts Printing and Linde Aire in Indianapolis.

He was a member of the Sitka Baptist Church, a 48-year member of Libanus Lodge 154, Monticello and was an avid fisherman.

He enjoyed his fishing boat "Fisherville."

Surviving is [sic] a daughter Tammy L. Wagner of Monticello; three sons, Thomas E. Bose, Jr. of Brownsburg, Barry J. Bose of Nashville and William T. Bose of Speedway; his former wife, Marlyn J. Smith of Monticello, and a brother Rev. Elmo Bose, Jr. of Rochester; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a niece, Susan Bose.

Visitation was Tuesday with Masonic Services at 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. today at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello with Rev Chris Dodson and Rev. Elmo Bose, Jr. officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in St. Petersburg, Fla.
