Glen A. Boehning, 72, of Francesville, died Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Jasper County Hospital, Rensselaer.
He was born in Francesville on May 30, 1930 the son of George H. and Emma P. Schmid Boehning. He married Eileen Kesler on June 5, 1954 in Monon. She survives.
He lived in Francesville all his life and was a farmer and truck driver. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed tractor pulls.
He was a 1949 graduate of Francesville High School.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954.
He was a member of the Aposolic Christian Church in Francesville and American Legion Post 228, Francesville.
Surviving besides his wife is a son Bill (Deb) Boehning of Francesville; a daughter Connie (Scott) Williams of Lafayette; a brother Stanley (Maxine) Boehning of Francesville and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Apostolic Christian Church with the church ministers officiating. Burial was in Roseland Cemetery at Francesville. Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home was in charge.
