Jeannette L. Teter Blissitt, 65, 5042 N. Canyon Loop Rd., died Friday. March 3, 2000 at St. Vincent Hospital in indianapolis. She was born on Sept. 16, 1934 in Homeplace to Lora and Gladys Teter. She married Randal Blissitt on March 6, 1955 in Monon. He survives.

She was a 1952 graduate of Lebanon High School. She had lived in Monticello most of her life.

She was a secretary at White County Memorial Hospital, retiring after 16 years.

She had been a member of the United Methodist Church in Reynolds.

She also was a member of the Women of the Moose in Monticello.

Her husband; a son Danny (Lynnora) Blissitt of Brookston; daughters, Suzanne Blissitt and Sherry (Scott) Metzger of Monticello; sisters Carolyn Carpenter of Tipton and Virginia Knotts of Greenwood; and six grandchildren survive her

A brother. Richard A. Teter is deceased.

Funeral services were Tuesday. March 7, 2000 at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with the Rev James R. Copeland officiating.

Burial was at Riverview IOOF Cemetery.
