Virginia Bittle

Virginia H. "Ginny" Cunningham Bittle, 72, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, March 13, at Community East in Indianapolis.

She was employed at Sam's Wholesale Club as a food demonstrator for the past 3 years. She formerly worked as business manager for Green Ridge Farm in Brookston for 15 years.

She was married to James W. Bittle. He died in 1972.

She was a member of the Brookston Federated Church, Past President of Warren Township PTA, was the former Mrs. Indianapolis of 1965, and she did volunteer work for various organizations.

She is survived by three daughters: Penny Mitchell, Indianapolis, Ginny Bruner, Attica, and Brenda Flint of Indianapolis; one son, Michael Bittle, Dallas, TX, a sister, Ann Bongen, Lafayette, and three brothers, Bud, Jack and Bill Cunningham. She had 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Shirely Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, Indianapolis, with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery.
