Wallace William Bish, 69, Monon, died Monday, Nov. 2, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Oct. 31, 1929, to Edward and Helen Derackin Bish, in Chicago. He was married March 16, 1957, to Dolores Wheeler. She preceded him in death in 1993.
He moved to Wolcott in 1986, and to Monon in 1996.
He attended Chicago schools and worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Chicago and served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
He is survived by three daughters, Pam O'Connell of Monticello and Lucy Powell and Helen Mills, both of Wolcott; two sons, Wally of Monon and Bob of Mesa Ariz.; a sister, Eleanor Ross of Berwyn, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was today at Foster Funeral Home in Wolcott, with the Rev. William Martin officiating.
Burial was in Meadow Lake Cemetery in Wolcott.
