Warren E. "Ed" Bishop, 54, Lafayette, formerly of Monticello, died Sunday, Aug. 27, at 11:50 p.m. in Home Hospital, Lafayette.
He was born Aug. 20, 1941, to Max and Frances Neva Wilson Bishop, in Toledo, Ohio. He married Laura M. Hrindak Bruner who survives.
He had lived the last year in Lafayette, moving from Monticello, where he had lived for 22 years.
He graduated
from Celina High School in Celina, Ohio and from Fort Wayne International
Business
College
in Fort Wayne.
He worked the last 17 years for PFT, formerly CTS in Monon.
He was a former member of Monticello Moose Lodge. He had been active with Monticello Little League for 10 years.
Surviving with his wife are four sons, Scott S., Keith A., Brian E. and Darin L., all of Monticello; three stepsons, Michael V. Bruner, serving in the navy in Japan, John E. Bruner, Indianapolis and Bobby F. Bruner, Brookston; a sister, Phyllis Carroll, Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren and mother of the four sons. Dawnita, G. Bishop Brettman, Westville.
The funeral
was Thursday, at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monticello, with Rev. Donald
Arterburn
officiating.
Burial was in IOOF Riverview Cemetery.
