Kenneth W. Bisher
 

Kenneth W. "Kenny" Bisher, 61, Battle Ground, died Dec. 23, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette emergency room. He had been in failing health for 4 1/2 years.

He was born Feb. 18, 1931, to Floyd and Elma Bisher, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He was married Oct. 16, 1964, to Patricia Grahm in Racine, Wisconsin, and she survives.

For the last 33 years, he lived in Battle Ground.

He graduated from Melrose High School in 1960 and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He worked for 35 years for the Prairie Telephone Co. and Century Telephone. He was a former fireman for the Battle Ground Volunteer Fire Department.

He was member of the Independent Order of Foresters and American Legion Post No. 492 in West Lafayette. He was a wood-worker and model railroader.

Other survivors are two daughters, Jane of Battle Ground and Kendra Grace of Earl Park; four sons;. Hobb of Buck Creek, John of Shadeland and David and Mike, both of Battle Ground; a brother Richard of Miami, FL.; a sister, Mrs Delores Castoreale of Racine, Wisconsin, and 10 grandchildren. A brother is deceased.

The funeral was Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Pastor Judy Becker, officiating.

Entombment was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, Mausoleum, West Lafayette.
