Frances Dale Watson Biddle, 100, formerly of Brookston, died Monday, Sept. 7, at 10:15 p.m. in George Davis Manor, West Lafayette. She had been a patient there since March 1, 1988.
She was born April 13, 1892, in Benton County, she graduated in 1909 from Gilboa High School and Marion Teacher's College. She moved to Brookston from Remington, in 1922.
She was married Feb. 7, 1912, to Reason H. Biddle, in Remington, and he died Dec. 31,1965.
She was a homemaker and member of Brookston Federated Church, Philathea Sunday School class, Prairie Home Demonstration Club and Art Club.
Surviving are three sons, Albert Biddle, Brookston; Reason Biddle, West Lafayette and Robert Biddle, Peru; a daughter, Mrs Max (Mary) Chamberlain, Wolcott. Also 10 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter survive. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Biddle, a daughter, Eleanor Ollar, a sister and two grandchildren.
Service was today at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston. with Rev. Lelan D. McReynolds officiating.
Interment was in IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.
