Lova M. Beckner
Lova M. Beckner, 72, of Monticello died Saturday, December 27, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
She was born at Monon on September 13, 1931, to William Jesse and Maggie Buelah Wheeldon Baxter. She married James N. Beckner on April 25, 1959 in Monon. He survives.
She was a 1949 graduate of Monon High School.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Monon.
She worked at Bryan Manufacturing & Polymer Engineering, in Monticello for several years and had also worked at Schumacher Electric, Rensselaer, and as a motor route carrier for 20 years for the Lafayette Journal & Courier.
Surviving with the husband are two sons James B. (Nancy) Beckner of Monticello and Darrell L. (Rebecca) Beckner of Monticello; daughter Alice (Robert) Livesay of Monon; two brothers, William N. Baxter of Monon and Wayne (Betty) Baxter of Monticello; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A brother and sister are deceased.
Funeral services were at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 with Rev. Steve Birch officiating.
Burial was at Chapel Cemetery, Monon.
