Lloyd C. Barnhart

Lloyd C. Barnhart, 61, of Monon, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at his residence.

He was born at Reynolds on February 8, 1942, to Mervin "Barney" Ray and Elizabeth Catherine Florence Johnson Barnhart. He married Sharon K. Hopkins at Monon on December 23, 1994. She survives.

He was a foreman over maintenance at the Department of Transportation in Medaryville.

He was a lifetime resident and was a 30-year member of the Monon Eagles Lodge No. 6519.

Other survivors include daughters, Pat Crane of Scottsburg, IN, Tina Lewis of Monon, Kay Vinard of Reynolds, Lisa Burbage of Omaha, Neb; son Jim Barnhart of Monon; stepdaughters, Nova Toosley of Medaryville, Tammy Dye of Monon, Desiree Law of Franklin, IN; stepsons, Mark Williams of Monon, James Williams of Monon, brothers. Ray "Moose" Barnhart of Monon, Donald "Butch" Barnhart of Monon; sisters, Kathryn Young of Monon, Debra Duncan of Monon, Becky Madlung of Monticello, Beverly Lowe of Morocco;. 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

One brother is deceased.

Funeral services were at Kellogg Funeral Home on Saturday, October 4, with Rev. Don Newman officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
