William "Bill" Bamett, 41, Idaville, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.

He was born Dec. 22, 1956, to William and ImaJean Ousley Barnett in Prestonsburg Ky. He was married Feb. 8, 1986, to Sharry Coleman in Plant City, Florida, and she survives.

He attended Lagansport school and had lived in Idaville for 10 years.

He was a heavy equipment operator with IUOE Local 103 of Kokomo.

He was a member of Monticello AMVETS

Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Shurine Barnett, Las Vegas and Monica Barfield, at home; a son, Trevor Barnett, at home; his mother, Imajean Dillon, Prestonsburg, Ky.; and a brother, Donald of Canton, Ohio.

Funeral services were Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Rev. Alvin Rockey officiating.

Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
