Evelyn F. Barnard, 75, of Logansport, died April 1, 1999 at  her home. She had been ill for the past four years.

She was born April 5, 1923 in Monon, the daughter of Oscar and Sadie Taylor Pauley. Her marriage was to Eugene E. Barnard on December 15, 1945, in Monticello.  He died August 22, 1980.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Monon most of her life, She had moved to Logansport 2 years ago

She is survived by two sons, Philip Barnard of Battle Creek, MI and Larry D. Jones, Eugene, OR and one step-daughter, Sandra Day of Monon, IN.

Three sisters also survive. Sorija Parsley, Logansport, Janice Linback, Lafayette and Sharon Cummins of Monon. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

She also had 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

There was a direct cremation and a memorial service is planned for Saturday, May 1.

Kellogg Funeral Home was in charge of the cremation.  And burial.
