Betty B. Baker, 82, 3401 Soldiers home Road, West Lafayette, a resident of heritage Healhcare Center, died Sunday, Aug. 2, at 9:28 a.m. at the healthcare center.

She was born April 15, 1916, to Ralph M. and Gladys Aldridge Beauchamp, in Indianapolis.  She was married Owen C. Jones who is deceased.  She then married Jacob A. Baker, March 1990, and he is deceased.

She was a graduate of Hyde Park High School, Chicago, Ill.

She had lived in West Lafayette for 1 1/2 years, coming from Monticello and Monon.

She was employed as a waitress and caterer and worked at the Monticello Tippecanoe Country Club for 25 years.

She was a member of the Yeoman Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Lynn Bentlage, West Lafayette; two sons, Dick W. Jones, Custer, S.D. and Donald E. Thompson, Monticello; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

No services are planned.

Memorials may be given to Yeoman Methodist Church or the Monon Public Library.
