Dennis H. Bailey, 60, Monon, died Wednesday, May 2, at 2:50 a.m. at his residence.

He was born April 1, 1942, to Herald and Anna Hughes Bailey, in Monon. He was married Sept. 23, 1962, to Barbara A. Wescoat in Monticello. She survives.

He graduated from Monon High School, in 1960.

He was a maintenance supervisor at Alcoa for 31 years.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Monon.

He was active with White County 4-H and coached Little League baseball for several years. He was an avid golfer.

Other survivors include daughters, Holly L. (Lawrence) Hoover of Star City and Crystal A. (Tony) Grandstaff of Burnettsville; brothers, Larry Bailey of Kentucky and Todd Bailey of Florida and three grandchildren.

A son, Daniel Bailey and a brother are deceased.

Services were Friday at the Querry-Ulbricht Funeral home, Francesville, with Pastor Matthew Pickut officiating.

Burial was in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
