He was born March 15, 1975 in Tehuewecia Gverrero, Mexico, to Francisco and Silvia Flores Astudillo. He married Erica Martinez on March 22, 1997, in Monticello. She survives.

He lived in Monticello for six years, coming from Mexico. He was employed at A.O. Smith for six years.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.

Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Katrina Astudillo, Monticello; his father and mother, of Tehuewecia Gverrero, Mexico; five brothers, Mario F. Astrdillo [sic], Espiridion Astudillo, Aretmio Astudillo, all of Monticello, Francisco Astudillo, of Mexico, Jose Astudillo of Monon; three sisters, Carmela Astudillo, Mariana Astudillo and Vencanis Astudillo all of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church with Deacon Domingo Castillo officiating.

Voorhis — Draper Funeral Home was in charge of the services.

Burial was at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monticello.
