Edna L. Anderson, 83, R.1, Francesville, died Saturday at Rensselaer Care Center.

She was born Oct. 2, 1911, to Julian and Dora Hintzman Lemon, in West Lafayette. Her first marriage was to Paul Barnes, who died in 1957. Her second marriage was Nov. 28, 1962, to Albert Anderson who died in 1973.

She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Francesville. She attended the Lutheran Church, Francesville.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Whitehead of Tennyson; a son, Alvin Barnes; a sister, Dorothy Ruemler, Brookston; a brother, Robert Lemon, Reynolds; and three grandchildren. A sister and brother are deceased.

The funeral was Tuesday at Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville with Rev. Steven Koening officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
