Eugenia "Jeanie" Altman, 65 of Logansport, died Mmday, Jan. 17, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 17, 1934, to Francis and Inez Marchand Moncel, in Jasper County.  She was married Oct. 18, 1952, to John D. Altman and he died Feb. 14, 1991.

She graduated from Moni\on high School in 1952.  She was a homemaker and collected owl figurines.

She is survived by her mother, Inez Moncel of Lafayette; sons, John F. (and Patti) Altman and Robert Altman, all of Logansport; a sister, Joan Spencer, Lafayette; three brothers, Alvin, Gail and Gene Moncel, all of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, John P. Altman and Joshua Altman, both of Logansport; a great grandson, John M. Altman, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Thursday at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport with the Rev. Bruce Almy officiating.

Burial was in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Reynolds.
