Irene Alspaugh

Irene Alspaugh, 89, of Reynolds, died Friday, April 8, 2005 at Twin Lakes Village, Monticello.

She was born at French Lick on March 24, 1916, to James T. and Ella Jacobs Ferguson. She married Elbert 0. Alspaugh on April 24, 1937, in French Lick. He died February 13,1990.

Survivors include son, Gary R. "Cork" (Sheryl) Alspaugh of Bloomington; daughters, Janice I. (Scott) McRill of Clearwater, FL, Karen J. (Keith) McFarren of Elkhart and Mary Lou (Sid) Holderly of Reynolds; sister Kathleen (Paul) Hall of French Lick; four brothers, O.D. "Bud" Ferguson of Monticello, Charles (Leota) Ferguson of Orlando, FL, James (Dorothy) Ferguson of Logansport and Wayne (Ann) Ferguson of French Lick; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan L. Ton officiating.

Burial was at I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery.
