Rosalee Allton

Mrs. Rosalee (Fields) Allton, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at 12:25 a.m. Mrs. Allton, formerly of Laporte and Griffith, Indiana, was the widow of Harold Edwin Allton, who preceded her in death in 1957. Mrs. Allton was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Laporte, and had retired from Northern Indiana Public Service Company in 1990 as a supervisor. Mrs. Allton is survived by her two sons, Michael W. of Monon. Indiana, and Kevin I. of Indianapolis, Indiana, and three daughters, Karen I. Allton of Michigan City, Indiana, Carol-Anne Hale of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mary-Louise Ehlert of San Jose, California. She is also survived by her sister Anna Katherine Durant of Sacramento, California. The funeral was held Saturday; July 22, 2000, at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel in Indianapolis. Graveside services and burial were held Monday, July 24, 2000, at Pine Lake Cemetery in Laporte, Indiana, where she was interned next to her late husband.
