Kenta Lea Adkins

Kenta Lea Adkins, of Monon died Thursday, December 4, 2003 at her residence.

She was born in Idaville on August 26, 1955.

She was a 1973 graduate of Twin Lakes High School.

She had worked at Wal-Mart in Monticello for one month. Previously she had worked at A.P.W. and Monon Trailer in Monon for several years. She had lived in the Monon area most of her life.

She attended the Buffalo Christian Church, where she enjoyed Bible study.

She also enjoyed family vacations to Tennessee, and spending time with her grandchildren, Shadow, Destiny "Gertie" and Carlos. She also enjoyed reading.

Survivors include parents, Glen and Jill Kistler Haskell of Monticello; a son, Neal Ashton of Monticello; daughters Amy (Brannon) Westbrook of Monticello and Erica Adkins of Monon; brothers, Tony (Cathy) Logan of Monticello, Steve Logan of Hickory, N.C., and Chris (Susan) Logan of Virginia Beach, Va; sisters, Pam (Mike) Ashton on [sic] Buffalo; Vicki (Alan) Sickler of Idaville, Kim Quinn of Columbia, S.C., Beth (Ashley) Maynard of Knoxville, TN, and Jennifer (James) McNeeny of Delphi; and three grandchildren.

Her father, Russell Logan, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were Monday at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Gregg Nydegger officiating.
