Anna Lou Abbott

Anna Lou Abbott, 70, of Norway, died Saturday, February 10, 2001, at her residence. She had been in failing health for the last several months.

She was born June 21, 1930 in Campbellsville, KY, to William and Virginia Scott Franklin. She married Lyle Abbott on November 4, 1950 in Kentland. He survives.

She worked at the former Chemtron plant in Monticello for 12 years. at Bryan Manufacturing and at RCA in Monticello for 10 years before it closed.

Surviving with her husband are two sons, Randy Abbott of Norway and Bill (Betty) Abbott of Monticello; three daughters, Loleta (Dale) Northcutt of Rensselaer, Teresa (Darrel) Hufford of Buffalo, and Angelita (Michael) Neal of Monticello; a brother Gene (Linda) Franklin of Monon; a sister, Joyce (Wayne) Dudd of Rockfieid; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were on Tuesday at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello with Pastor Don Bixby officiating.

Burial was in Hughes Cemetery, South of Buffalo.
