Who We Are

The Greater Wabash River Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council is a 501c(3) conservation organization dedicated to facilitating efforts of local citizens that support responsible social, economic, and natural resource conservation and development.

Areas of emphasis include land conservation, community development, water quality and land use.

Greater Wabash River projects are funded through donations, contributions, and grants, and are implemented by community minded volunteers, leaders and resource people in the five west central Indiana counties of Benton, Carroll, Clinton, Howard and Tippecanoe.

Our Board if Directors is made up of representatives appointed by our sponsoring organizations in each of our member counties:

  • County Commissioners
  • Soil and Water Conservation Districts
  • Cooperative Extension Service Boards

All programs and assistance of the Greater Wabash River RC&D Council are available without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, and marital or family status.
