Affiliated
with Purdue University School of Nursing. FHC's staff
provides individualized care, focusing on health
education. Nurse practitioners and registered nurses are
the primary providers of care at the Family Health
Clinic. This approach allows for quality, low cost
healthcare. Our nurse practitioners, registered nurses
and personnel offer compassionate and professional care
with dignity.
What
is a nurse practitioner?
A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who has an
advanced education and clinical training to perform
physical examinations, treat minor and stable chronic
illnesses, prescribe medications and order lab tests as
needed.
Services
are provided without regard to race, color, national
origin, age, sex or handicap. Our services are not
limited to those living in Carroll County. We accept
clients of any income level. We bill Medicaid and
Medicare. Persons who qualify for our sliding-fee scale
receive a discount on services.
