Bandelier National Monument

We planned to visit Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, but the rental car said it had tire problems. After talking with National for a while and checking the tires, we decided to play it safe and skip to Bandelier National Monument.
The canyon is covered with ruins of Anasazi cliff houses, pueblo-style dwellings and petroglyphs.
At the gift shop, we talked with a nice lady from Indiana and the only one of her siblings to not attend Purdue. We left her a reminder of where good people go to school :)
We also talked to a guide and his son that were just enjoying the day.
Check out the picture of Jo reaching the top of the 140 feet of ladders to Alcove House with the tree tops below her.

Drag the mouse over a thumbnail to see where it was taken.
The blue trail is our GPS track.
