Thursday May 6, we stopped at the visitor center and were told the upper trails were still snow covered and closed. We decided on Fletcher Canyon Trail.

We took Fletcher Canyon Trail about 2.5 miles in and back out. We didn't realize how much we had ascended until we checked the GPS and on the way out.

The sky was beautiful, some of the foliage was in bloom, in the upper 70s. A great hike.
