Thursday November 8

We drove the rental car to Indianapolis International Airport.

Our flight was on ATA. The tickets were for Noon take off. We were called in October, departure was changed to 2:30 PM. We were called Nov 6, departure was changed to 1:00 AM. We arrived at the airport at 11:00 AM. We checked in and were told the flight departed at 2:20 PM. The boarding pass printed with 1:00 PM departure time. The plane departed at 2:20 PM.

We arrived in Las Vegas at 4:00 PM. We went to Avis to pick up the Blazer 4x4 that we reserved. Avis only had 2x4 Blazers. We ended up with a Suzuki Grand Vitara. We checked in at Alexis Park. This was supposed to be a 4 star joint. They had nice fountains. In the room, the frig was a freezer, most lights worked, the devider between the bedroom and living room was gone.

Friday November 9

From the top at Red Rock The weather forcast was for brilliant sunshine. You can see by these pictures they weren't wrong.
We drove out to Red Rock National Conservation Area . We drove to teh quary and took Calico Trail. Doug made it to the top this time.

Saturday November 10

We drove the out to Keyhole Canyon and spent a little time. There was a little bird that kept close to us. There is a picture of him back at the dry waterfall.

Techatticup Mine , This old gold mine is being refurbished by a very interesting couple and thier family.

Eldorado Canyon - Lake Mohave, We saw one of the most beutiful sunsets. Unfortunaly, the digital camera did not catch it well.

Bitter Springs Back Country Byway BLM is a Beureau of Land Mangement 28 mile corse ajacnet to Valley of Fire Nevada State Park.

Lost City Museum - Overton, NV

Checked in to The Hilton.

Saturday November 17

About midnight, we headed out to Red Rock Conservation Area. We found a spot about half way back Calico Tank road. The Leniod meteor shower was a great show. We stayed out until Jo got to cold at 2:45 AM Sunday morning.

Sunday November 18

Checked out of The Hilton.
Checked into Bally's (Of the places we have stayed, Bally's is our favorite place to stay.)
NFL Football Sunday in the sports book

Monday November 19

Toured Ceasar's Forum Shops.

Tuesday Novembver 20

Checked out of Bally's.
Took a drive.
Toured the new "The palms" "yawn".
The airport and trip home was uneventful.
