BOSCO THE WONDER CAT!

Bosco is our shop cat. He is a large yellow tiger with a very sweet temperment. On a visit to Dave's you can usually find him near the front door greeting people or on top of a monitor box dozing. He likes a high vantage point, and will usually be on top of the highest stack of monitors.

When you're all alone with Bosco in the shop at night, he loves to play games. His favorite is ball. He sits in one place, you roll his ball to him, and he bats it right back to you. Again and again and again. He's very good at ball.

He also enjoys hide and seek, a game I call chase, where you take turns chasing each other around the building, and the game of pick-up, where you knock a small item such as a pen off of a table and wait for the human to pick it up so you can knock it off again.

When he first came to the shop one of the things we called him was "bosco". Before very long it became clear that he was Bosco. His "bosco-ness" simply became too obvious for us to overlook any longer, and we just went with his name, Bosco.

He is fascinated with the movement of cursors on a computer screen. He spends a lot of time wondering about what the fax machine does, and loves watching Vicky's laser printer pull in sheets of paper.

Next time you're in the shop, look for Bosco the Wonder Cat, and give him a little petting if he's not in too feisty a mood. He especially likes his ears rubbed.
