Processor:
With the Intel Processor we use the ASUS PIII motherboard,
and with the AMD Athalon we use the ASUS K7 motherboard.
ASUS has proven to be a very reliable motherboard. The
PIII can be upgraded to any Pentium up to the 866EB.
We do not sell Celerons any more. Why would anyone want to
buy an obsolete computer?
Hard Drive:
We use Seagate hard drives exclusively. They are extremely
reliable, and though they are a couple dollars more, we
feel it is worth it not to have our customers' have hard
drive failures.
Memory:
Get as much memory as you can reasonably afford. 64 or 128
are most common today. Gamers, power-users and anyone doing
graphics programs like Pagemaker or Photoshop will
appreciate having more. Memory is very inexpensive today
compared to a year or two ago.
