It's BILL CLINTON! I think the guy is great. It's so refreshing to have somebody in the White House who has his head on straight AND was born the same century as me. And what a wonderful change to have a first lady who has a brain in her head. Clinton and that Gore guy have done great stuff for the Internet. (Gotta admit I had severe doubts about Gore after Tipper's assault on the music industry.) I think they're doing a great job, in spite of all the new Far Right 'politics of hate' propaganda that's out there.

I've been a Democrat precinct committeeman for the last several years. This is a job that you can't quit, you just have to die to get out of it. It's been kind of interesting to see how this democracy stuff actually works. One election a bout two years back, my poll sitters made the difference which candidate got elected. It was exciting - I had to call down to the state election headquarters to get a judgement on how to count certain votes - it made the difference! Pretty neat.

Next time you see me, ask me what a 'Yellow Dog Democrat' is...
