HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY

The Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering prides itself on being a fully accessible event.  The Fiddlers' Gathering has been recognized by the Indiana Arts Commission as a model of festival accessibility.  In 1990 the Fiddlers' Gathering brought in Therapeutic Innovations, Inc., of Brookston, Indiana, to conduct a study of the festival grounds.  The Fiddlers' Gathering then implemented Therapeutic Innovation's recommendations into the grounds as well as subsequent follow-up reports. There are extensive handicap facilities integrated into the festival including ample handicap parking (monitored), plenty of accessible bathroom facilities and wheelchair accessible seating areas close to the main concert stage.  Staff is always available to accommodate any special needs.
