UTILITY BILL PAYMENT POLICY

This is the Brookston Municipal Utilities' policy regarding non-payment of your utility bill. If payment is not received by the Ist day of the month following billing, or arrangements have not been made prior to the Ist for paying at a later date, utilities will be disconnected. If disconnected, there is a $25.00 reconnect fee per utility.

We do not want to disconnect your utilities. Please help us help you. If circumstances arise and you see that you will be unable to make your payment by the end of the month, please call our office. We will try to work with you so we can avoid disconnection.

There are limitations on the amount of extra time our personnel can give you to pay your bill after the Ist. Therefore, it is important to contact our office as early as possible, if you want to make arrangements to pay after the Ist.
