Social Service Agencies

The Community and Family Resource Center

The Community and Family Resource Center (CFRC) is home to the South Side Community center, Lafayette's Head Start and Early Start programs, and the Counseling Center.  The CFRC also hosts programs aimed at delivering emergency referral services, homelessness prevention, youth recreation and after-school programs, and child abuse prevention and treatment.

 

Indiana Legal Services Inc.

Indiana Legal Services provides legal representation, consultation, and advice in the areas of family law, consumer law, senior law, housing issues, and public benefits.

 

The Hanna Community Center

The Hanna Community Center provides youth and senior programs, home care services, and emergency services.

 

The Lafayette Crisis Center

The Crisis Center provides 24-hour counseling, suicide prevention, information and referral.

 

Lafayette Transitional Housing Center

The Transitional Housing Center offers shelter and support services for homeless families with children in Tippecanoe County.

 

Tippecanoe Community Health Clinic

The Community Health Clinic provides pediatric, prenatal, dental and adult medical care to low income and uninsured residents of Tippecanoe County at reduced fees.

 

United Way of Greater Lafayette

United Way of Greater Lafayette monitors and helps to support its twenty-five member agencies, one of which is Legal Aid.  Information about the current campaign, member agencies, and the Week of Caring can be found on United Way's local website.
